Just a thought, but I seem to remember Bear and Sons bought a lot of equipment from the Camillus auction. The knife in the op’s photo is much to polished and the matchstrike pull to clean in relation to the springs and delrin...I think bear might have purchased a lot of blank blades and parts in tha...

If you're going for plain functionality instead of historic authenticity why not try a lock bar like the one used in the Buck 110 etc. Make the part you're using as a spring into a spacer and install lockbar. Just an idea
