Re: NEED MEMBERS ADVICE ON NEW TACTICAL

Only requirement in Michigan is the blade be 3" or less. This applies to OTF as well. I've carried knives that were larger than 3" blade and never had a problem. Even the LEO'S I've shown knives to never had a problem.

Re: NEED MEMBERS ADVICE ON NEW TACTICAL

Will, autos are legal now in Michigan. I picked up this Protech and it's completely legal with a 3" blade. Check your mail as I sent you a message.

Re: NEED MEMBERS ADVICE ON NEW TACTICAL

These are all integrals and designed by Tashi Bharucha. Made by David Deng of Reate Knives and are excellent made knives with incredible fit and finish. The bottom knife is called the Baby Machine and I have 2 on order. It's not a flipper, but will deploy just as fast with just a nudge of your finge...

Re: NEED MEMBERS ADVICE ON NEW TACTICAL

I like tactical knives and especially anything made by David Deng of Reate Knives. This pic is of three knives all made by Reate and designed by Tashi Bharucha and all are integrals. The bottom knife is called Baby Machine and is not a flipper, but can be flicked open just as fast with a nudge of yo...

Re: Liong Mah Warrior I

I really wouldn't know. I know Custom Knife Factory (Russian) uses a Chinese manufacturer for most of their knives. I've owned several and they were really well made.

Begg Steelcraft Bodega

Todd Begg had several designs manufactured by Reate. This is the Bodega and is an incredibly well made knife.

Re: Liong Mah Warrior I

WE, Kizer and Real Steel make some excellent knives and have unique designs. They use some excellent steel in their blades such as M390, S30VN and others. I almost bought a SanReMu years ago for a user and it looked to be a quality made knife. I'd say you got a bargain for $10.00 and certainly got y...

Re: Liong Mah Warrior I

This model is called the Liong Mah Warrior I and made by Reate. Liong Mah has his own line of knives and he had Reate manufacture these. Difference between a $200 Reate and the expensive Reate's is the models and materials. Some are integrals and have damasteel blades and Mokuti or Timascus. They fl...

Liong Mah Warrior I

One of my favorite knives designed by Liong Mah and made by David Deng another friend who owns Reate Knives. Hollow ground S30VN steel blade and flips like a rocket.

Re: what defines a "mint" knife

I rarely use the word mint in the description of a knife. It can always lead to disagreements between the buyer and the seller. Maybe I'm wrong, but many of the so-called mint knives seen on fleabay have been buffed.

Done with with fleabay!

My case with eBays complaint that was filed against me ended as I expected it would. They sided with the buyer and told me to refund the money including shipping once the Remington knife was returned. As soon as the knife arrived I knew the bail had either been replaced or altered by the buyer. I ha...

Re: 20,30,40, Who Knows How many Years?

If you ever get the chance to meet Christine Tucker, you'll know she is one great lady. She really is one of the reasons for GEC's success. She wears many hats at GEC and can fill any position there, including the production of making knives. I was fortunate to see her last year at Blade and we had ...

Re: Evolution of the Can Opener

Not so much history, just some trivia, most knife mounted openers work by pushing away from you in a counter-clockwise. The opener on the Wenger Swiss Army works clockwise, like a P-38. That being said, I would prefer a P-38 carried in billfold or Altoid tin than any knife can opener. I wish I had ...

Re: Another reason why I hate eBay

He just informed me that he is now going to file a complaint with PayPal. Nothing but a scam artist! I just discovered that I as a seller could file a complaint against him and have done so. He's demanding that I be removed from eBay. They won't have to worry about that as if they side with him, I'm...
