All About Pocket Knives

I got this one in a lot of knives on eBay.

I actually got it in a lot of older knives but it's quickly becoming a favorite. The small case is missing the other scale unfortunately. Can't hardly find anything about the G96 either, it's a model 970.

Your Pat number, for your search is off, by one number. The next-to-last number is an 8 (not 6). Certainly is an Imperial knife, out of Providence Rhode Island. Not sure if the etch is for advertising, or to the type of knife. Not generally high dollar knifes. Can't give you a lot more info...cause...

The only blade on it when I got it was the small blade and it had no stamps on it.and the length from out side edge to outside edge of the bolsters is 3 and half inches.

Yeah I tried twice lol that was my next question.

Could anybody give me any info on this old schrade knife? It only had one blade when I procured it and would like as much info as possible.
