Buck 505 Script Custom.

Hi. Long time since last post. I have a collection of Buck 500, 501, 503 and 505 knives etc. I have dated and identified all with the help of this forum. I just bought a Buck 505 Script with wooden scales and stamped Buck 505 Custom USA. I have never seen this stamping before. Can someone shed some ...

Another tang stamp question.

I bought a NOS 501 Esquire with the anvil stamp.
On the non tang side stamped in block letters is
“FB”. Any significance or explanation? Thanks, Jerry.

Tang stamps: Confused

I am fairly new to this forum and have used and collected Buck Knives since the 6o’s. A burning question. Is there any accurately published account of tang stampings on post 1980 Buck knives especially 500 series knives? I am trying to make a straight line diagram but nothing adds up. Here is what I...

Strangest thing!

A forum member was kind enough to mail me this box for a 501 Squire. The box was huge and large enough to hold a fixed blade knife.
Makes me think that at the time and moment they
used whatever box was available and slapped the proper tag on it.

Re: No date on Buck 503?

Advertised as just a Buck knife. 503 on tang does appear to have a dot stamped to the right.

No date on Buck 503?

Large rivet heads?

The 2005 Prince 503 on the left has larger rivet
heads than all the older models on the right. Did
all 500 series knives after 2005 have
larger rivet heads or was it a one time thing? Just
curious?

Re: New to forum Buck knife adventures

Thanks for the great pics and feedback. Just trying to remember how many knives I have left stuck in trees after field dressing a deer and how many were Bucks. The 505 came and looks like a piece of jewelry. When buying the 505 I also bought a custom Buck walnut case for a 112. A beautiful piece of ...

New to forum Buck knife adventures

Hi, I am a senior citizen 77 years old and have been collecting, using, buying and selling knives, guns and watches for years. Have owned most every common Buck since the first was introduced. That SS three blade stockman was a revelation. Lately I got the desire for a 503 Prince as the last one I o...
