scissor knife?

Estate sale pickup. 12-inch total length. Unmarked and ones for cutting up poultry have equal length curved blades with a notch for the bone. Any help with age, maker, country? He may have used them to put up deer. The thumb latch has a stamped number 80.
Thanks, Bob

Re: Kitchen Knives & Work Sharp Precision Adjust?

I've been thinking about getting a Work Sharp Precision Adjust sharpening system, and I know it will work well on all my pocket knives. Does anyone have experience using it on larger kitchen knives like an 8" or 10" Chef's knife? Can you get from heel to tip, or if not in one go, can you ...

rusty swords?

The five rusty swords were found in a dumpster behind a lodge. I would like to make at least one good one and possibly cut shorter one. I can do electrolysis with baking soda and maybe presoak in vinegar. Suggestions welcome.

Re: Any Train Enthusiasts Out There?

Trying out a used camera, as I was at the crossing, I seen this coal train approaching. Chessie R. R. Fennville, Michigan. Fennville? Are you headed to Crane's Pie Pantry? It has been 10 years, or so, since I have been through Fennville, nice town. Hi, we do not often go to Crane's. I can see the R...

Re: how much is gas in your area?

Here in the USA we say 3.8 liters to one gallon of gas. It was $4.29 here but at lunch today one station is said to be down. Although Michigan just voted to drop highway fuel tax. A lady said farmers are out plowing their fields. I said that is smart to do it before diesel fuel goes to $6 or $7 doll...

Yes adsorbed, the installer told me with a regular battery some computer functions may not work. I see online, battery chargers made just for this type. I have an old Sears. Not sure what is different in them?

car battery woes.

A week ago, Friday my car would not start, starter sounded strange. A friend tried to jump it with his pickup. No help, so with the help of my heat gun I managed to pry my charger clamps out of the ice on the barn floor, another winter problem. 3 1/2 hours later I managed to get it to start. So my E...

Re: The Death of the U.S. Penny

Bummer. Without pennies how will disgruntled employers pay the back wages owed to employees? I am of course referring to the case recently where a court ordered the employer to pay back wages owed to an employee in the amount of $915.00. The employer had 91,500 pennies dumped from a truck onto the ...

Re: Will you take the Covid Vaccine ?

We got the Moderna booster shot. My right hand is infected and hurts a lot. Probably from wearing old dirty work gloves to do yard work before winter. My state- Michigan two days ago reported 15,000 new Covid cases. I called the doctor's office about my hand, said I'm either coming in or going to ur...

Re: Will you take the Covid Vaccine ?

My county here in Michigan even made the recent national news for new cases. And now the say that up to 60% of our white tail deer is positive, but not suspected to transmit to humans. Humm, if it is Mosquitoes where doomed. We got the booster shot the other day, but my son and his wife won't get va...

A pair of Bald Eagles standing watch over our cars and the lake at my Nephew's front yard. 7 Pm evening sun lit the up. and no splats on the car. Took out my tripod and took pictures from three positions, and they just seemed to not be bothered.
