Carrying this one for a week now. Used for opening seven dust to cutting the stem of a rose I got for my wife. Definitely a handy EDC

Pretty sure that is a NAZI swastika and not Native American or any middle eastern symbology. I’m guessing it was a sfo or an individual had printed it on there himself.

I don’t have rocks where I live, so every time we go on vacation I try to find some that are knappable. We went to Oklahoma a while back and while we were there I found quartz. It can be difficult material to knap but I was able to squeeze out a point from a good sized flake. Dovetail point (quartz)...

I then just studied some pictures of that type of jigging, and the general angle it was laying. Then I tested my method on the scrap piece of bone until I got the feel of how much pressure and time I wanted to spend for each cut. Then when I felt confident enough:
