The thought has crossed my mind. This belonged to my late father. I have been inventorying his collection. I have not gotten to the ones in the display case yet. Although, I know they are all from 1989 with the exception of two that are from 1991.

My LB7 and LB3. I have never seen an LB3 with a handle like this and cannot find anything on the net regarding this knife either. they all only have wood handles. Anyone can help with that?
