Re: York Cutlery Co.

I know this thread is old but thought i’d post a pic of a York springer made in Germany. I owned it a while back and have it coming back. Pretty well made knife. Not the greatest fit and finish but solid

Re: Authentic original Remington or reproduction?

Thanks guys, it was a roll of knives I bought, so I really don’t have anything in it. It’s been in my wife’s shadow box, I’ll just put it back 😁

I’m using an iPhone and can’t get photos to transfer to the website. When I click on add images and select an image it doesn’t go to the box where I can upload it. Any suggestions?

Early Queen City knives

I came across three older Queen City knives in a small collection I purchased the other day. One was a rough black 2 blade jack knife that was familiar with. The other two not so much. I did see from a tang stamp chart that these appear to very early Queen knives. Any info appreciated 13542E0D-EEDF-...

Case xx trapper with muskrat blade question

Question, how can you tell for sure that a trapper has a true muskrat blade not just a skinny blade? Is there a sure way or ways? Also It’s my understanding that only USA era trappers, 1965-1969, were made with muskrat blades?

Re: Is there any way to fix a knife with a lazy blade?

This is a mint condition knife from the 1970’s. It has no “snap” on one of the blades when opening and closing

Is there any way to fix a knife with a lazy blade?

Wondering if there a way, short of taking the knife apart, to fix a pocket knife with a lazy blade? Thanks

Re: Case xx 5383 question

My biggest question is that the picture in his case xx book ( I don’t remember which one) shows a knife with a blade identical to the top knife (sl...

That’s what I thought but wasn’t sure. sometimes what I think isn’t what is 🙄 It just has a nicer trimmer look. Nothing big, just an overall better look to it. Thanks for your knowledge

I bought a few knives from a gentleman today and he had two what I call XX (1940-1964) 5383 stag whittlers. My question is that one of them had the had a master blade shaped exactly like the 10 dot 5383 and 6383’s that I have. The other had a slightly different slimmer at the top blade. The knife se...
