Re: Guns & Gun Related Stuff

I have a real soft spot for Marlins and I would have grabbed that one for $100.

I have a 781 in 22lr and it's a tack driver.

Re: Big A** blades...or more than you usually will ever need.....

I think the only one I have that qualifies is this Mexican Bowie style that was a throw in with another knife I bought on an estate sale. It looks to be a similar style to the the knife in photo 4 post 2.

The knife is right at 12in overall with a 7 1/2in blade

Re: Whats your newest addition to your Buck family and why?

This is my most recent and as near as I can tell it's a 433 Juno though the model isn't marked, I guess because it was a commemorative. It came from a firearms and related estate sale where for some reason no one was bidding on the knives. I got it and another folder (a Myerco Stinray Aus-8) for $1,...

Re: Guns & Gun Related Stuff

It's a .22 cal Benjamin Franklin multi-pump rifle Could it have been a Benjamin Sheridan rather than Franklin Yes it is, I was going on memory, I think it is an early production mod 342. Those rifles had Benjamin Franklin in quotes stamped on the barrels but it was a play on the Benjamin brand not ...

Re: Guns & Gun Related Stuff

There were some serious airguns back in the day too as I inherited one from my grandfather. I don't know how old it is other than it was from before my time. It's a .22 cal Benjamin Franklin multi-pump rifle. With 7-10 pumps it will easily put the pellet through both sides of a steel coffee can or i...

Re: Gateway Area Knife Show - St. Louis

Thanks for bumping this as I didn't know about this show.

I'm not sure of my plans this weekend yet but if I end up in STL, I will probably try to swing by.

Re: Show off your fixed blades!

This is one that inherited from my uncle. H. Boker and Co. U.S.A. USN MK1 knife It's not in the greatest shape as some of the stacked leather rings are damaged/missing so someone wrapped it with electrical tape. It's still take off a finger sharp though as all of the knives I inherited from my uncle...

Re: My latest Schrade

I've only recently joined the forum but I picked these two Schrade's up this past fall from a couple of different estate sales. The Shrade-Walden 148 was in the bottom of a box of outdoor/sporting goods items. IMG_5536.JPG The 125OT I picked up at a different sale. It's been heavily used, had the bl...

Curious about a Mexican Bowie

I'm calling this a Mexican Bowie knife because although I'm not sure that's a correct identification I don't know what else to call it. I picked this up on an estate sale auction a few dollars as the second of a pair of knives they were selling. Checking the internet, I've found a few images of simi...

Re: Greetings from Missouri

Thanks for the welcome everyone. Welcome Maverik! Whereabouts in MO? I have close friends near Hermann that I try to visit once a year. If you've never been to the knife show in Washington in July then put it on your list; it's a good one. Dennis I'm west of St. Louis but not as far as Hermann. I wa...

Greetings from Missouri

I've been lurking about this forum recently and joined a couple of days ago. I've always been interested in knives but I wouldn't really term myself a collector, more of an accumulator of anything that interests me or catches my eye. The closest I probably come to a collection is that I several Buck...
