Re: Do you favor one knife over another?
Gunstock Copperhead Mini trapper Trapper Medium stockman /Canoe. (toss up) Some Copperheads I don't care for but the older RR's are my favorite knife. The design proportions are just right on them for me.. Visually and in use. Of course, they should of had a clip / wharnie combo on some though. ::pr...

The dreaded blade wobble conundrum
Ok, first let me say I give no excuses for my obsession with blade play, wobble or anything short of a rock solid blade in a knife. The water can get a little muddy in the perception/reality department when it comes to this subject. I notice some claim to run into it often and others who rarely have...

Re: New RRR009 & RRR001BM Pictures
The 009 and the hedgehog are solid perfect knives here,. Unfortunately the new heavy trapper is not. Ordered Friday and got today, super fast shipping but man it is a real dud on blade wobble. Around 200 RRs and not a one of them in the same zip code as this one. I couldn't repack and get an RMA fas...

Re: Organizing
I got to have them out to enjoy so started making these shelves. Will be making another here shortly. It would drive me nuts having them all put up. But can see how collectors with large amounts would have to do things differently.

Re: Outdoorsman Thread
Hey fellas! Haven't visited the thread here for a bit, thought I'd share a recent find. Was out taking care of bees yesterday and thought I saw some bones off the hill. Took a stroll down there and found this guy. No history with this one so was surprised to see him here. Kinda bitter sweet to have ...

What is the message being sent with the name and badge?
There certainly is one being sent. Just not seeing any connection with the good start up story and traditional knives...

Thanks Tom.
Amazing knives there Roland. When a guy spends that much time and skill doing that on them he doesn't do it on a knife that's not worthy... Another testament to the quality right there.

Re: A Rough Ryder forum is needed
Patterns and series are far deep and wide for RRs. Are we going to have to navigate past those pages to make or read "general" posts that don't pertain to a specific pattern or series? Just asking. Might I suggest a "General" discussion stickied at the top of page 1.

Re: Rough Riders!
These mini trappers are a testament to how great the quality can be on pocket knives. Despite my blade wobble obsession every one of them are solid as a rock. 15 for 15 ain't bad. Hard to put the black pearl series in my pocket though.

Re: Rough Riders!
The best way I've found to search out knives in a series or pattern is use Worthpoint. Example: looking for different scales offered in a particular pattern, say a copperhead. I would type in the search: rough rider copperhead. That would show me the bulk of them sold on eBay over the years.... Many...
