Re: Show off your Gerber Knives
Gerber is owned by Fiskars that is true but the USA plant that still makes many models. The LST, Gator, military models to name a few, are still and always have been made in the USA and are marked Gerber not Fiskars, just as a Chevrolet says Chevrolet not General Motors.

Isn’t there round bolstered large stockman in the vault or is it discontinued? A ‘92 pattern maybe! I would also like to see the large trapper main blade put on the 75 pattern Large Stockman.

I just ordered a LNIB 110 LT off Ebay, should have it in a day or two. Why,because I don't have one and they use a real 110 blade unlike the new 110/112 light weight models.

Re: Have to ask the Buck guys ...
I remember reading the reason most of the 30X series was recently discontinued was that the line was in the process of a retool. So far, I haven't' seen anything yet. Maybe bone will be more common then. That’s very interesting news. Maybe they’re fixing the lack of engagement with the springs on t...

I served in the Army from ‘72 to ‘78 and the only issued knife of any kind was issued to Signal Corp types and that was the TL29. Bayonets were kept in a footlocker in the Arms room.

Re: Couple questions about a Schrade Uncle Henry knife
I have always found the fit and finish on Old Timers and Uncle Henry’s to be generally superior to Case. The only issue I have with then is the Swindon(sp) key bolster. I have had one Craftsman knife come loose.

Re: 300s and such.
I have three 301’s but the one I use and carry the most is my early 70’s model (non- stainless springs & double brass liners on one side). It’s a much better slicer than newer models due to the full flat grind also. Why did they change to the current Sabre grind?
