Re: AAPK's Store Platform?
I have a page and will answer a direct email and never hear back. Not sure if they’re really receiving them or just being rude in not replying. There are definitely some kinks in the site. When I signed up, I had to sign up for a credit card company to use and then they told me they couldn’t accept ...

Re: Latest Leverlock Acquisition
I think that is the factory shape for that particular model. I have a mint example with the same blade grind.Bill DeShivs wrote: ↑Tue Nov 21, 2023 8:34 pm It's a Bonsa. It should say so on the tang.
Once the spring is replaced, it may have blade peek. It looks like it has been sharpened quite a bit.

Re: German with rare blade grind
Cool knife, but the blade grind isn’t original. Most likely it came with a spear point blade.

Re: Any info on this?
Thanks Knfcollector. I’ve visited the link and I am impressed. That’s one awesome collection. The French knife there says Begon as mine is stamped Bargeon, but it looks like it is the same knife. Perhaps a different model by the same manufacturer? I especially liked the Spanish Knives in the collec...

Re: Vintage Hubertus single-bladed :trick" knife
Hubertus made two models. They weren’t being made in the later 1980’s so I’m not sure when they started or stopped for sure. Most of mine came from the owner long after they were out of production.

Re: Anyone know what kind of switchblade this is?
It’s a Spanish made copy of a French pattern. The two French models are leaf spring fired while this is coilspring fired. The French models are very well made with a heavy nickel silver top bolster. One has a rectangular button and a sliding safety. The other had a somewhat oval button that pivots t...

Re: Odd little double switch
I found this one on a buy it now on eBay. Cracked ice celluloid handles. Both blades are switch blades operated by little brass catches on the end. Reminds me of the schrade pullball release. Lobster pattern? I cannot make out the tang stamp. Any ideas who made it? ::shrug:: These ones are usually ...

Yours is most likely made by Broch in Germany. Here are others by the same company.Lawrence wrote:I recently found one of those as well. Cant read the tang stamp..English probably for sure. The springs inside the liners are unique . Cheers

Wanted: Antique keychain switchblades
I'm looking to buy some more antique switchblade keychains in 7cm and 10cm sizes, and I'm especially interested in finding a Vendetta Corsa with white scales like the one in the picture. I let a good friend talk me into selling him mine and when he passed away his son decided to keep all his knives ...

FS: Polish Demolition Knife WZ 1969
Times are tough and I need to thin the herd. The main blade is coilspring fired. I have two available. The first one has the magnesium missing which is very common as it disintegrates into powder with age. Otherwise it is mint with the original pouch, lanyard, and extra saw blade. The story is that...
