Re: Schrade with no model number on tang.
This knife is has a tang stamp the simply says Schrade + USA with no model number. It is the same size and shape as the 94OT and has ivory Delrin scales. No scrimshaw on either side. I would like to get any info I can on it, dating, model number, etc. Any help would be greatly appreciated. ::tu:: A...

Re: Rough Riders!
So my collection pretty much consists of Rough Rider , Case and vintage USA Schrade stuff like Uncle Henry , Old Timer and open stock Schrade . I recently went through everything and did some edge touch ups that were needed on some of the previously used Schrades . Then I thought I'd start doing the...

Re: Schrade U.S.A. 881W Question
Just for what it is worth, here is a link to one of the 505SC knives that is begging for bids on the bay. Ray https://www.ebay.com/itm/274815121303 That one certainly looks like yellow delrin which is strange since the 500 series was typically white delrin scrimshawed . The 881 came in yellow with ...

Re: Schrade N.Y. U.S.A. 881...W?
I can't see this being an EOD's knife . Not with blades stamped 881 and NY . This has to be a knife from the ''70's or early '80's . I just won a bid on this exact same knife on the bay . It should be here tomorrow or Monday . There's no shield either , so maybe it was meant to be scrimshawed and di...

Re: Schrade N.Y. U.S.A. 881...W?
I know it's an old thread , but I was kinda curious myself as to one of the OP's questions about what these white Delrin 881's are worth in nice condition .

Re: Rough Ryder working man half-hawk
I've got one . That Ramsfoot blade is cool . Mine is a Coal Miner series . Black pick bone . There's still some new ones floating around on the bay . The fit and finish on mine is one of the best Rough Riders I have . One of the first Rough Riders I ever got . No clip removal needed and no green to ...

Re: MADE IN CHINA SCHRADES
I bought a couple . The Old Timer 25ot and the Uncle Henry 227uh . And tell ya the truth , I'm impressed . Of course BTI has been at the healm for a bit now and I'm thinking they're doing a better job with them than Taylor Brands did . But both these are quite nice . The Delrin isn't quite the same ...

Re: Old Timer & Uncle Henry Missing Tang Stamp
They surely look like the real deal minus the tang stamps . The color and hafting on the Old Timer is not what the Chinese knives look like . A bit harder to tell but the staglon on the Uncle Henry looks like the real deal too . And true , if they were made at the Camillus plant , they would have th...
