thank you Dan - I’m going to reposting your pictures in the long running Scout Knives thread - Jim Pitblado (Lostvalley) has built a museum quality collection and his Remington’s are second to none. Thanks for sharing! ::handshake::
It is an amazing collection!

Nice find. You didn't show the tang stamp, but, I believe it is likely made by Camillus sometime in the 1940s.

Re: The 2024 Oregon Knife Collectors Association Show

The owner of the pyremite display wrote an article for the OKCA knewsletter about making a display. For this display he asked a woman, who was a non knife person, to take his pyremite knives and make a display. This was the result. The wheels spin and it makes quite an eyecatching display.

A couple of shots of the room on Friday, setup day. There were quite a few empty tables on Friday, but, they mostly filled up on Saturday. Also some...

Re: Mystery Knife Game

Not sure which was the Wikipedia clue. Tried searching those dates in Wikipedia and came up with nothing. Went through the pocketknife brand list in LGIV. The only one (that I saw) that gives specific dates of 1918 to 1925 was DeLuxe. Also says this was a mark used by John Salm of Torrance CA?? 275 ...

By 1994 Frank Buster "Cuz" had built over 300 different three blade "Stockman" knives with various handle materials, measuring 3-¾". I have many Fight'n Rooster knives, mostly in the stockman pattern pictured below. It's worth another look ; Old Folder has such a great disp...
