Re: Production Totals Increase
That's great news! I was looking at the totals and didn't want to total them up. I am sure Case and Buck is at the top of production. I wonder what Queen, Bear, Canal totals are?

How do you spin the pins instead of peening? I know many manufactures spin pins but how does it work? Thank you and the knife looks great!

They are still the best production knife made! I remember years ago when this forum was constant with pics, comments and new threads but anymore it seems like a ghost town. I still buy GEC knives over any other because of quality and nice the folks are at GEC.

Re: Rough Rider RR1285 Review
My limited experience with the primary Chinese made brands is that there are several brands (Rough Rider, Boker Magnum, Boker Plus, Colt, Columbia River Knife and Tool, etc. ) that are quite adequate for normal daily use. I guess that's what make it such a scarey situation. They are a legitimate th...

They were a SFO that GEC made. They had them on greateasterncutlery.net. They are a contracted knife. The wood scales I think are made from the wood floors from the ship.

Re: Why Has GEC Knives Fallen Off the Cliff?
Some people treat knives like they are Museum pieces. GEC builds a quality knife, just like anything if you put a microscope on it more than likely you will find imperfections.

22 Magnum
I received the new 22 Magnum knife in the mail today so I decided to submit a not so good photo against the boys knife for a size comparison. The 22 magnum is a nice small knife that is well built and the copperhead bone is sweet. If you like small knives I would recommend the magnum, the next knife...

Re: Why Has GEC Knives Fallen Off the Cliff?
I love all of my GEC's but it get pricey so I usually buy a few a year. GEC's I think are so nice that when I pick up knives from other companies I appreciate what GEC is doing. I only EDC one of my GEC's which is the micarta Conductor. I hope the company gets more popular and stronger!
