Re: NOT WHAT I USUALLY BUY - BUT WHAT DO YOU THINK?

Now you're on to my favorite brand (non-traditional). I've been collecting them for quite some time and 95% of the time there is a Kershaw in my pocket. I might have a few. http://www.allaboutpocketknives.com/knife_forum/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=13909 Congrats on your purchase. You won't be d...

Re: ASSISTED OPENING any suggestion?

I took one of my DAM Leeks and polished it up so much I had to add some tape so I could hold onto it. I carried this one for a while and it just shows some slight discoloration in certain areas. Washed with water and a little soap then re-oiled afterward. I really like the Leek and usually hav...

Re: ASSISTED OPENING any suggestion?

What style, size knives do your currently carry? Price range? Do you like steel/aluminum/G10 handles, etc ..? There are many selections available for A/O, and in saying that I would recommend Kershaw first. They were the first to implement it and are still the best at doing it. Look at the post I pu...

Re: MY Praise fot the Kershaw Skyline

Ya'll have hit my weak spot. My obsession with Kershaw knives knows no bounds. FWIW, the Skyline is not an assisted opening knife. Just has a flipper. It is different than other flippers and might take some time getting used to it. (very light folder) The Skyline was designed by Tommie Lucas, ...

Re: Some of my Kershaws

kurt6652, I EDC a R.A.M., ZT0302 and a Groove (sometimes I'll carry a Leek) and then my trusty Schrade stockman.
I always carry 2 along with the Schrade.

justold52, that would be the Chubby.
I know someone that might have some. I'll find out and let you know.

Pat, I bought a Schrade melon knife from you and it was not as described.
It is in unused almost brand new condition. You said it was used.
I'd like my money back too.

Re: New Kershaws 2009

Mike, I really like the looks of the Scamp. Does it have assisted opening? I don't see any thumb stud or nail nick. I realize the first three are made of a higher quality steel, but other than that, what causes the price to be so much higher than the others? Phil The Scamp will have a stud for open...

New Kershaws 2009

I figured some of you guys like tactical style knives so here is the line-up for Kershaw for the rest of this year. These first 3 will be limited production and will probably go very fast. https://www.allaboutpocketknives.com/images/forum_archives/ff249-knifeidiot-OCCAnniv.jpg https://www.allaboutpo...

Re: Some of my Kershaws

I bought a bunch of those DAM Leeks. Some from the first run, some from the second run. I've gifted a few away, but the rest I'm saving for a rainy day. I'll make it to the warehouse sale one of these days. ::tu:: Not just to look at knives though, I'd like to personally meet all the people I...

Well, I received the knife I 'won' from one of Pat's auctions.
The pic did not do it justice at all
Schrade 105. The blade doesn't even have a mark on it. Excellent condition.
I'll try and get some pic up tomorrow. ::tu::

No Cowboy, I can't be too negative. He did take care of the problem.
I'm not leaving feedback until he receives the knife though and I make
sure all is well.

WOW, that is a beauty.

Almost as if the shield and pins were floating in a maple lake.

Re: This is freaking ridiculous!

FWIW, the 2 I bought from your auctions were $4.95 and $8.10 shipping each. It was not necessarily a factor in my decision to buy, but that is me. I don't mind paying shipping, as long as it's fair. I don't care if they mark it up some, I understand. I do like trail's advice about selling them here....
