Which means I gave a nice chunk of change to get this one. He has the 8 blade black pearl barrel knife, and it not going anywhere unl...

Re: My one and only

I have got a couple. One of them was has a desert storm etching. Nice knives, very different for cargills work. But the prices stay fairly reasonable. I think I gave 60 for the desert storm, just cause at the time I hadn't seen another one. Couldn't let it get away.

Until next time Shane

Re: Early Cripple Creek's

I bought one last year for $296 and was happy to give it. It had the Cripple creek shield. These knives have not come up for sale alot. Back in 08 one sold for $710. That had to be a bidding war. Or a couple of people using their snipping programs and not paying attention.

Hey Tom, I will agree with with you about the knife putting Bob on the map, but please correct me if i am wrong. I always thought there were 2000 of this pattern made and 500 of the equal end cigar pattern? Do you make knives know? Can we see some of them? Untill the next time Shane Stone

I personally love the trapper pattern. And those are some nice examples. The knife in the 4 th picture, and in front on the last picture. Is the spey blade larger than the others? Or is it an optical allusion?

very nice knives, I just picked up a cripple creek shield, this year, myself. Prices are lower than i have seen them in 5 years. What i really treasure is a Bob Cargill buisness card that came with the knife. I will get some pictures of it.

Still wish i could have bid more, But the ole ball and chain started yanking on my choke collar. Trust me it is hard to type when you don't have oxygen going to your brain. Or is it blood flow ...
