Tips for taking a good photo

Let me first say, some of you all take some excellent photos. I would like to get some decent photos to post, but Im not having much luck. Can some of you share some tips? ps. I tried the search function and couldnt come up with much. Thanks Mark

I agree. It is hard to get much from a picture unless you have already handled MANY of them. For me it is even hard to grasp the size of it unless you know what your looking at. Mark
