This is still one of my favorite Cattaraugus. Fabulous bone, no brass, no nickel bolsters.

When I changed insurance agent they made me take pictures and itemize my knives. At my age that kind of took the fun out of it.

I have two Cattaraugus four blade cattle knives, one bone and one swirled pearl celluloid. Have them in pictures but can’t get them to come on this post. We are in Florida or I would take new pictures.

Soaked the knife and the blades come opened. The ring actually brought the blade out.aThe tang stamp on the blade is SCHRADE CUTLERY. Blade and nail file look full, needs polished.

Two very old Cattaraugus bare head knives. The 21899C looks like green bone and the 21899S looks like a bone I have never have never seen. No brass in the liners. Both have three stops and have iron bolsters. The

I will always think this knife is a “PREMIUM” knife! Slanted pinched grooved bolster, etched blade and three back springs. Bone handles are perfect old UTICA IN PERFECT CONDITION. Previous owner must have had a lot of live stock.
