When I changed insurance agent they made me take pictures and itemize my knives. At my age that kind of took the fun out of it.

I have two Cattaraugus four blade cattle knives, one bone and one swirled pearl celluloid. Have them in pictures but can’t get them to come on this post. We are in Florida or I would take new pictures.

Soaked the knife and the blades come opened. The ring actually brought the blade out.aThe tang stamp on the blade is SCHRADE CUTLERY. Blade and nail file look full, needs polished.

Thanks for the advice. It is a Schrade Cutlery, Blades look full. But needs a lot of cleaning.

Two very old Cattaraugus bare head knives. The 21899C looks like green bone and the 21899S looks like a bone I have never have never seen. No brass in the liners. Both have three stops and have iron bolsters. The

Something about laying a compass on metal that does not work. I have heard you take the compass to use it.

They show these in the early Case books but these are stamped Cattaraugus.

I will always think this knife is a “PREMIUM” knife! Slanted pinched grooved bolster, etched blade and three back springs. Bone handles are perfect old UTICA IN PERFECT CONDITION. Previous owner must have had a lot of live stock.😕

Old Cattaraugus.

Found the fixed blades in an old man’s stach. Celluloid handled one has world war 2 history on the sheath,VJ day.
