If I remember Kinfolks made straight knives mostly.Folders were very low production, so your knife would rare.

I have had all kinds of illnes all cured, but the sickness of knives is the only one that I have enjoyed. I wouldn"t take the cure if they found one. :lol:

Starrman I believe it is delrin jmo.If you rub a tooth on plastic it will slide freely. If it is a natural material, it will feel rough. This will only work with natural teeth. Practice this with known handle material and it should quickly show. Another way is to look at it under magnification (10x)...

This morning I gave up looking and bought some JBweld.The repair went well.After eight hours I took the clamps off,and it looks fine, just like the other side.THANKS for the info.

Gerber scale

Recently bought a Gerber folder 4 1/2 in closed brass frame with wood inserts. One side insert was loose,now off.Will thick crazy glue do a good job? Knife will be sold,so I do not want this to to be a looks only repair.
