Very nice, especially the last two at the bottom. They appear to be Stag. Look like well made, stout knives. ::nod::

Thanks Mike yes sir they are stag well they all are except two. I really appreciate your comments especially your questions when I have worked on something. Thank you very much. The two 190s and the 1780 I think are original Henckels made before 1960. The others I think were contacted out to Boker I believe. If I am wrong I am sure there will be a more knowledgeable Henckel collector come along and help us out with the correct information. ::tu::

Yes Ed, these two right here look like well built, no-nonsense knives. The kind a Mountain Man would carry in addition to a Fixed Blade. They have character written all over them. I can also see blue skies in the bolster reflection. Looks like you took those photos on a nice clear day. ::nod::

I think you are correct about Boker making the Congress patters that you have. That is the same 3 step bolster that Boker uses, and I do recall a thread here discussing just that topic.

It's a great look, and a very nice carry knife. ::nod::
