Henckels T-Handle Corkscrew

J.A. Henckels is a Solingen, Germany based knife manufacturer that dates back to 1731. The company's Zwilling (twin) logo is known to be one of the oldest trademarks in the world. Throughout the company's history, it has made some of the world's finest pocket knives, kitchen knives, scissors & flatwear. In 1960 Henckels ceased their pocket knife production and started having other companies make knives for them on contract. Boker has been one of the main producers of more recent Henckels products.

Henckels T-Handle Corkscrew

Postby outkast » Fri Oct 05, 2018 3:51 pm

Mail Call added a new corkscrew to the Henckels collection. Sellers pic only showed the markings on the screws shaft. So was happy to find the Twins on the cutter when cleaning it up a little.

That's a cool looking piece. Do you have any idea how old it might be ?

Really no idea other than maybe trying to date it compared to others based on style. You know the knives are hard enough to date. Someone on here has some old catalog ads would be nice if to able to get some copies of them.
