Some JAH stuff..............

Post by knife7knut »

Thought I had posted some of this stuff here but checked and couldn't find any so here they are for better or worse.
#1-#2-#3 some Henckels paring knives.
#4-#5-#6 An old pearl whittler with two Henckels blades and one I*XL blade.Stamped on the back of one is C. Langbein New York.He was a knife distributor and repairman in the early 1900's which is when I think this was done.
#7 is a Henckels congress.
#8 is a nice 4 blade pearl senator.
#9 is a stag handled cigar box opener/closer.
#10 is a group of clam/oyster knives.

A couple more:
The manicure set has tools made entirely of pearl.
The poultry shears only have one of the twins.
Not sure what the last knife is;the handle is sterling silver.

You sure have been accumulating again!! The reason there is only one guy on the shears is because it is Henkels International, not J A Henkels. Henkels International is a cheaper line of cutlery and not made in Germany as are J A Henkels. Most Henkels International cutlery I have seen is made in Spain, it is probably so marked on the shears or the box. I like the pearls.

Hi Ray, I saw your post on the pearl KCC, you really did well, gorgeous knife! Like I said, I am not into the KCC knives, probably not buy one normally, but the one you got in pearl or genuine ivory are really sweet knives and I would have jumped for yours without a doubt. I don't think you could get blank pearl sheet for scales in that size and quality for what you got the knife for.
