Sleeveboard Moose
Recently picked up this sleeveboard Maher and Grosh moose. This is an early knife. There is also something unusual that I have seen on another old M&G I have. This one also retains some of it's original etch.

Shields and screws. Awesome!
If I have seen further it is by standing on the shoulders of giants.

Two shields! That's interesting. I've seen it on a cigar pattern Schrade Cut but never on an uneven handle like a sleeveboard. Very cool Roger!!

Re: Sleeveboard Moose
Maher & Grosch contracted knives to be made for them by others didn’t they? If so this one may have been made for them by Miller Brothers?

Re: Sleeveboard Moose
Roger, that one is a great acquisition, especially with the unique features and so much of the etch remaining on the blade!

Awesome piece of knife history right there.
Pocket, fixed, machete, axe, it's all good!
