My EDC & traveling Marble's knives

Webster Marble formed Gladstone Mfg. Co. in 1892. That company created the first folding Axe in 1893 which lead to the incorporation of Marble's Safety Axe Co. in 1898. The company became Marble Arms & Mfg. Co. in 1911 & enjoyed years of success until succumbing to a shut down of production in 1974. The brand was brought back to life in 1994 & enjoyed a grand rejuvenation that later gave way to another shutdown in 2009. Many great knives & tools were crafted over the company's storied history.

My EDC & traveling Marble's knives

Post by stagman »

Here is a pic of the Marble's knives I depend on the most....they are the ones
that always go back and forth when I head to Arizona for winter camp....
Top is a Stag / Stag 7 inch Trailmaker
Next is a Stag / Leather / Stag 7 inch Ideal...The sheath with this one is a Marble's
stamped sheath with sharpening stone, very help full for field touch ups
Next is my little drop point Sport for smaller chores
I like to have a big blade knife with me when out in the mountains around here,,
just makes a fella feel better

Great looking choices, stagman. ::tu:: ::tu:: You know I'm a Marble's fan. ::nod::
Pocket, fixed, machete, axe, it's all good!

You're going to look awfully silly with that knife sticking out of your @#$. -Clint Eastwood, High Plains Drifter
