I picked this old Marbles M.S.A. Gladstone Mich, U.S.A. knife and sheath at an estate sale a couple years ago. It is pretty cool with the safety cover on it that folds into the handle , It is in pretty good condition except for some staining on the blade. The blade still has a good snap to it. Any information would be appreciated and some help with value since I am not a collector but just pick up neat things when I see them. The blade measures 4.25 inches long including the fold out guard to the bolster edge. Has pat. allowed stamped om the fold out safty guard. 8 and 7/16ths long overall with the safety guard folded in . I may have to sell it if it's worth a few bucks Rocko. Thanks,

Cool knife!! How about a picture of the sheath too please? It is worth some buckos. It is a "plain handle" model, there are others with a lynx and quail and a hare and hound one which may be more desirable. The longer blade models command higher prices too. Considering the blade wear which is considerable you ought to get $800 give or take, maybe more to the right guy.

I agree with Gunsil. Nice looking old knife and above average condition. The original sheath is a big bonus. Great find!

Is this knife stamped Gladstone, MI? I don't see it in the pictures.
