Northwoods Railsplitter Moose
I currently have only two Northwoods knives. I thought I would post one here and start another thread for the other one.
This Railsplitter Moose has carbon steel blades and was made by Queen when Dave Shirley owned the Northwoods brand. My research suggests that there were 4 handle material in this run with relatively small quantities produced.
Ebony - 25 made
Stag - 43 made
Elephant Ivory - 4 made
Mastodon Ivory - 4 made
The one I currently own is an Ebony but I used to have one of the Elephant Ivory variants too. Should never have let that one go.

I am not really into "new" knives at all, but those are BEAUTIES!! You're right, should never have let go of the ivory one!!

They sure look great together. I bet you do miss the ivory one. I know I would.

Great looking knives. I don't know if I could actually carry one of those. I'd be afraid to scratch it. Sure are beautiful though.

I did not know of this Northwoods knife. Now it is on my "to obtain" list. What a solid pattern, yet graceful looking at the same time, sort of like Arnie S. at his youthful body building best.
