Pocket ceramic

I'm looking for a ceramic pocket sharpener for my future hawkbill.
Do those black Chinese $3 "Diamond Tapered" things work or should I get a Smith's or Lansky or equivalent?
There's also the Victorinox pocket clip one that looks like a pen.
All I have now are multiple flat Arkansas stones and my kitchen steel is almost smooth.
