Knife and sheath

Post by Rossr »

Just finished this knife and sheath combo for a friends son who earned his Eagle scout. I wanted a nice remembrance and something he could use if he choose. Knife is O1 tool.steel with damascus bolster and Flame box elder, overall length is 8 inches and the blade is 3.25 inches.

The sheath is wickett and Craig skirting with a carved eagle head. I tried to blend it so it looked like the body was going down the sheath where I added the initials of the new owner. Lined with red deer skin .

Open to thoughts and constructive criticism as always.

Both knife and sheath look fantastic. The sheath is something I'd actually be interesting in buying. All the details and color are to my liking.

Congratulations on your work. Your friend's son must be very happy :)

Both are unique, beautiful, functional, and appropriate - what is not to like?
I can guarantee that he will be honored by such a generous gift. Great job!
