Lanyard braided on the knife

I made this knife years ago and it didnt sell and I liked it so I kept it and use it. Decided to make a new lanyard. The old one was just lace with an over hand knot.

The braid part I've got worked out. The sliding knot is still a learning curve for me. I like the look of the two tone. And since it's for me that's good ::ds::

Open to thoughts and improvement

I am unfamiliar with the sliding knot, but I like the look of that braided lanyard. Two-tone is definitely a good look.
Secondly, I really love that knife, as well. Very elegant, with beautiful sweeping curves. Great job on both!

Thanks for the kind words

Its called a ring knot or spanish ring knot and its a variation of a turks head. I think its for sliding but not 100% I have a couple braiding books and the one by Bruce grant has this in it.

I never tried a slider knot before. beads etc but not a knot. I like the look just want to educate myself a bit more
