Jemmy Iwahara Coming Soon to this forum.

Post by Sharpnshinyknives »

I have been in contact w/ Jemmy Iwahara from Japanese Knives Direct and Kencrest for several months now. He has registered and will join us soon on the forum. So if you have a question about a Japanese knife, he will be a great addition to the forum for some information and background info.
I hope to piece together the history of how Parker, Frost and A.G. Russell got w/ them to make knives there in Seki Japan. I think the backstories to all of this will be interesting and it needs to be documented for future collectors.
I hope he will see this and jump right in. Please welcome him when you see him on.

Sorry for the delay folks. I know he has had some problems getting registered. I hope he is still planning on joining us. I haven’t been able to reach him for several days so he may be away or something. I will let you all know when I know.

I received an email through the AAPK system from Hitoshi Kitamura of Moki. They have registered and looked around and liked what they saw on the Moki, Mcusta, Al Mar and Other Seki made. Hopefully they will jump right in soon and handle your questions about fine Japanese knives.
