Friend and neighbor Kevin Deal, performing recently at a benefit fund-raiser for the local Volunteer Fire Department, of which he's a member.
Here's a humorous but sad song he wrote about a North Texas truck stop some of you truckers might recognize (Anna, Texas has two truck stops). He was there to meet a friend who was late, and wrote this song based on his observations while waiting.

Oh my goodness! I’m more of a Classic Rock fan, but I’ve listened to and performed, a fair bit of Country. Written some too, accidentally. 
That was just amazing! So many faces I recognized and respect. Reba and Dolly have especially been women to admire.
I wonder how many people watching this wondered why they included a “Whitney Houston song”.
I actually have very fond memories of sitting at the kitchen table with my sister in law, circa 1981, playing Dolly’s record and singing ‘I Will Always Love You’ at the top of our lungs. I still prefer it.
