Cattaraugus Cutlery Co. Little Valley N.Y. 1886-1963

The Cattaraugus Cutlery Company was started by John Champlin and his son Tint in 1882. It was first incorporated under the name J.B.F. Champlin and Son as a wholesale distribution company based in Little Valley, New York. The business proved to be a successful endeavor, and it soon branched into a knife production company named Cattaraugus.

The old saying, never open more than one blade at a time, you don’t have to worry with this knife. Thanks for the nice comments.

JKB, Nice one. This one came from Steve Pfeiffer in 2013. Hadn't taken part in much on AAPK for so long just wanted to post this along with JKB's outstanding old example.

Wish I did have guys sending me leads but no I usually find this stuff myself! As far as cleaning it goes it will be left as it is. Got oil soaking on the blades now but nothing else. Hate buffed knives.
