Dogleg Jacks

Keen Kutter was first used as a knife brand by Simmons Hardware Company in 1870. The trademark was used on the highest quality tools and cutlery Simmons offered.

Dogleg Jacks

I whole heartily agree. Bone or ebony please. Steve B.

Keep your edge sharp, otherwise you just can't cut it.

Looking for Carrier Cutlery and early Robeson with Elmira tang stamps.

Looks surprisingly similar, Herb. Price & Zalesky say Hibbard, Spencer & Bartlett's were made by Camillus, Ulster and Schrade. I would guess our knives could have a Schrade connection. ::tu::

My impression (and there are those here who 'know,') is that that particular type of matchstrike pull is usually pre-1920. Knice.
