don't like the buffed shine, some blade loss and very small tight crack near center pin
that being said, love this knife and price was right

What's not to love about an old gal like that? Brings up that little thought we have now and then, "If knives could talk..."! Do you have any idea about the age?

Re: Schatt Morgan
In 1896 or early in 1897 they moved to Schatt’s hometown of Gowanda New York and, in July of 1897, they purchased the Platts’ cutlery plant there (The Platts family then moved to Eldred Pennsylvania and on to various associations with the extended Case family). Thus, the company was housed in Gowanda from 1897 until 1902 at which time they moved to the Titusville, Pennsylvania factory where they incorporated. Schatt & Morgan went bankrupt in the late 1920’s, and was sold to Queen City Cutlery in August of 1933 at a sheriff’s auction. read about the workers who were fired by SM and started Queen here http://foldingknifehq.com/tag/queen-cutlery/
so lets say 1900-1929, i will say 1914 so I can say it is a 100 year old knife
thanks for the response treefarmer and Royal
