Charlie's Passion, the reintroduction of the Harness Jack with S&M knives

Schatt & Morgan knives were first manufacturer back in 1890. The Queen Cutlery company made most of the more recent examples, but Schatt had its own plant in its earlier years that cranked out the oldies. There is no shortage of fantastic Schatt & Morgan knives in existance that have been made over the brand's long & storied history.

Charlie's Passion, the reintroduction of the Harness Jack with S&M knives

Post by knowtracks »

The reintroduction of the Harness Jack started at Queen Cutlery with 3 Schatt and Morgan releases.
When Bill Howard left Queen to start GEC in 2006, Charlie followed Bill and Great Eastern has produced all the rest.
Here's the story!!

I enjoyed going through all the posts in that older thread awhile back and this reintroduction thread is a nice wake up call for all to enjoy the Harness Jack. You don't see many for trade or sale or even pictures being posted lately. I'm a Harness Jack fan, nice looking HJ Dave, thanks for sharing.

This Harness Jack is one of the first GEC knives I bought. It's an 08 but I picked it up in January of '12. Anybody know what the 'P' in the pattern number stands for? It's #18 of 48.

Dave, that stag is stunning. Maybe I should have some gnarly stag put on my #54. ::woot::

Thanks Jerry!!
I'm sure it would look good and if you planned to keep the knife and use it, why not??
But for resale I would probably leave it as is.
