Info on large single blade coke bottle

Schatt & Morgan knives were first manufacturer back in 1890. The Queen Cutlery company made most of the more recent examples, but Schatt had its own plant in its earlier years that cranked out the oldies. There is no shortage of fantastic Schatt & Morgan knives in existance that have been made over the brand's long & storied history.

Info on large single blade coke bottle

Post by Hemitime »

I’m looking at a large coke bottle, 2003, with a tang stamp New York. What’s the reason for the New York stamp and is the steel 420HC? This is a Premiere shield knife. Regards, Tom

The Premier series were made with Queen's standard stainless steel, 420HC. The New York stamp is a decoration that's only there to remind collectors of the company's history. Mostly what sets your Premier apart from similar Queen and Schatt & Morgan Coke Bottles is its nickel silver liners and its bone. Nice knife.
