What are these two patterns called?

Schatt & Morgan knives were first manufacturer back in 1890. The Queen Cutlery company made most of the more recent examples, but Schatt had its own plant in its earlier years that cranked out the oldies. There is no shortage of fantastic Schatt & Morgan knives in existance that have been made over the brand's long & storied history.

What are these two patterns called?

Post by Sharpnshinyknives »

I bought this 46 piece collection of mostly Schatt and Morgan and Queen knives and I have come across two patterns I haven’t seen before. Wonder what they called these? Both look like Barlow’s to me but that’s probably just the long bolsters making me think that.
The small one could be a 1 blade peanut but it doesn’t look like other S&M peanuts to me. The larger one could be mistaken for a mini trapper. Any ideas?
Thanks

The 3 3/4" knife looks like an "English Jack" but these are usually over 4", so i'm not sure what to call it. Hopefully a Queen collectors will know what Queen called it.
The smaller knife might be a "Mini Barlow" ?
I think these are not 'standard' knife patterns but are specific to Queen.

The smaller appears to be a Mini Barlow. I own a few and sold a few 2 5/8 long closed ??? You didn’t mention the size. Mine are 2 blade tho. The other appears to be just as you say a Jack Knife but again you didn’t mention the size ??? Could be a Barlow ??? Those numbers on the blade usually indicate the Year ( 2015 ) which I see and Series Number and Info should be available somewhere for that piece. Nice Knives !!!

Thank you Gary. I almost emailed you with that question, I figured you would know.
I appreciate the help from kJ and Sweetpieces.
