Great collection, David! I really like the Old Southwest series. Those are solid knives! I have three of ‘em!

With 98 pieces in your possession I'd call that being much more than just a fan, David, you've gotta give yourself "enthusiast" status at least!
If 98 pieces from my knives were singled-out, that would constitute 1/3 of my entire collection!
Pray tell, where can I find your book? ::shrug:: Thx!

They are 8.5% of my total collection. You can purchase my book on Amazon.
Thank you very much sir.

Wow, only 8.5%, you'd need a football stadium in order to display all of them together, David!
Thx for the info on your book also.

Isn't that odd, David, you have all the Southwest Series models displayed except for the Doctor's knife, and the Doctor's knife is the only model I own! ::shrug::

You made me go back and look at my inventory. After that picture was taken I did go back and purchase the Doctor's knife. Some of the series' I just couldn't purchase all at the same time.... :D

Thanks, Cudgee and Marco! Yea, I really liked the color on this one. And, yes, Cudgee, this would make a very good EDC!

I picked up 4 pocket knives at a garage sale a few weeks ago and got this Rough Rider thrown in free because it had a broken spring, and was missing one handle slab. I had some 1095 high carbon 3/32" barstock, so I made the spring from that and rehandled it with some stag. Not sure what the pattern is as there is no number on it. It is 3 and 7/8" OAL closed. I had not worked on a RR before and was surprised to find that the pin diameter they use is .108" or about 7/64".

I believe you did a very fine job at restoration. It kind of looks like a Copperhead but I don't think they have a single blade one.
Anyway I like it.

Thanks, Marco! It’s an album cover for some 60s beach music.

Nice Barlow, Tim, and I wouldn't be too concerned about double-posting, I doubt anyone noticed anyway, and if they did they got a 2nd look at a great knife, it's a win win!

Are you telling me you type out a post and also write it down on paper, Tim? ::shrug::
If you are, that's a great way of keeping track, but then you need to keep track of your writings as well! lol! ::hmm::
That's waaay too much work for my lazy bones! ::zzz::
