Good ones Jerry.
That last one? You posted you have to name it! Lol.
Looks like a blank spear point to me
Hoping everyone else will post more of them.

Re: Rough Rider Shields
Very neat thread. I like the RR shields. Actually RR does a good job of every aspect of their knives.

Re: Rough Rider Shields
I couldn’t tell if this was a shield? I think it’s part of the handle design. So it gets honorable mention.

Cool thread.

Well that’s all of them
Just kidding. Those are all I could find. Feel free to add any I missed. I’ll keep an eye out for new ones.

Re: Rough Rider Shields
Oh, I feel fairly confident there will be more in the future.
I forgot this one. Bought it exclusively for the shield. It's a lockback and I'm not a fan of lockback knives (though I have a few).

Re: Rough Rider Shields
Here is a very early RR 696 Canoe with a "Feather" shield and a Jade like ceramic box with feather relief artwork on lid. Many of these older Rough Rider knives are becoming very pricey, if you can find them.
A current RR "Support The Cause" Red Heart shield bartender knife.
2019 RR "25th anniversary" Giant Trapper shield with 14 earlier shields on the box.
An older RR "Bowie" Series shield. An American Legend.
I wonder what RR has in store for 2021?

Re: Rough Rider Shields
I suppose we can call the center of attraction a "Shield" on the RR Old Southwest series?

Re: Rough Rider Shields
Grab one (or all) LJ.
The Canoe RR1750 goes way back to December 2018 at the beginning of the series.
Alan, the spokesman and commentator on many of the SMKW "Guys Talk Knives" on YouTube stated last month, (Dec.2020) that the RR Old Southwest Series have plans to add an additional five (5) new patterns to the "Old Southwest Series" Can you imagine a Sunfish/Elephant Toe in this pattern?
Alan also stated that this series has been in the making for four (4) years now.

Thought I'd throw another picture of the series in.

Thanks for that information, Dan. Now you've gone and done it...piqued my desire even more.
I'll let you know what I decide. Decisions, decisions.

Came across this RR shield today. Not sure if they even use this one anymore...I haven't researched it.
