Leg knives are one of those patterns that are polarizing. One the one hand they are a neat old pattern on the other hand maybe they aren’t PC anymore? Sexist?

I see them as beautiful and graceful. Once you realize the boot is a bottle opener the design is pretty clever.

Anyway these are two of the first RR knives I bought because I wanted an examples of leg knives but didn’t want to buy expensive ones. The fit and finish is excellent on both.

Let’s see your pictures of your RR Leg knives.

If you add a bottle opener to a fish knife it will look like a leg almost by accident. I think that’s why I like them. It’s one of those few times form and function come together.

This thread is fitting for today, I just watched the Leg Lamp scene of Christmas Story on TV 😉

I bought a Coie? River leg knife a while back. Just to see what quality they were. Its not a bad knife but Ill give it away as soon as I find a good old example of quality.

I have one and am contemplating another with the acorn shield in January. I'm a sucker for that acorn shield.

Just ordered one. It was the handles but mostly the shield that unzipped my pocketbook.
