Made In Hong Kong.
This fob or key ring style pocket knife arrived recently in a group of pocket knives that I bought. This particular pocket knife was NOT the target of my purchase. It is a HONG KONG STAINLESS, single blade, single tool, 2 7/32" closed (not including the loop), one tang stamp, pocket knife. It is in EXCELLENT condition and needed very little cleaning. I took some pictures and here it is.

Nice looking "gentleman's" knife. Most likely made before Hong Kong was taken back by the Chicoms. Hong Kong was once a thriving free market, free people City/State and home to many manufacturing companies. It was one of the wealthiest per capita places in the world.

This pocket knife arrived recently in a very large group or lot of pocket knives that I purchased. I did not buy the group or lot to obtain this particular pocket knife. However, I am not complaining and it turned out to be a keeper. It is a SABRE 667, one blade, two tang stamps, 3" closed, lock back pattern or style of pocket knife. It has a fishing theme with graphics of a fish, probably a trout, on the main handle side and a fly fisherman on the other handle side. The main blade front tang stamp says "SABRE (over) 667" The main blade back tang stamp says "STAINLESS (over) HONG KONG" It is in EXCELLENT+ condition and appears to be very well made. It needed no cleaning at all. I took some pictures and here it is.

These two pocket knives arrived recently in a very large group or lot of pocket knives that I purchased. These two now become the most recent examples to join this topic or thread and added to my general pocket knife collection. I did not buy the group or lot to obtain these two particular pocket knives. But, I am not complaining and they both turned out to be keepers. They are both Ka-bar 1606, both have one blade, both have two tang stamps, both measure 4" closed, both are the lock back pattern or style of pocket knife. The main blade front tang stamp, on both knives, says "Ka-bar (over) Cleveland, Ohio (over) 1606" The main blade back tang stamp, on both knives, says "STAINLESS (over) HONG KONG" Both knives are in NEAR MINT condition and both knives appear to be very well made. They did NOT require any cleaning at all. I took some pictures and here they are.

I did NOT buy the group or lot of pocket knives to obtain this particular pocket knife. It is an "UNBRANDED", one blade, one tang stamp, 4 3/4" closed and 8 3/8" open, "butterfly" pattern or style of pocket knife. The main blade front tang stamp says "STAINLESS (over) HONG KONG" in a rectangle or box. Overall, it is in VERY GOOD condition. It did not need any cleaning at all. I just wiped it off, I took some pictures and here it is.

Re: Made In Hong Kong.
Not too recently, this pocket knife arrived in a group or lot of pocket knives that I bought. It now becomes my latest example to be posted under this topic or thread. It also became the latest example to be added to my general, "foreign born", pocket knife accumulation. I did NOT buy the group or lot of pocket knives to obtain this particular pocket knife. It is a "LARK", one blade/tool (a cap lifter or bottle opener), two tang stamps, 3 1/8" closed (not including the bail), pocket knife. The main blade front tang stamp says, "LARK" The main blade back tang stamp says, "STAINLESS (over) STEEL" The main handle side has, what appears to be, a floral design. The other handle side also has, what appears to be, a floral design. There is NO country of origin stamped, marked, or etched, anywhere on this pocket knife. The 1998 GOINS edition says, "LARK c 1820-1900 Trademark used by P.D. Baus." I DO NOT believe that the GOINS description applies to this, and other LARK pocket knives, similar to this one. Some of the LARK pocket knives, like mine, that I've seen online, are made in HONG KONG. So, I am 99.999% positive that my LARK pocket knife is from HONG KONG. The blade does have a SOFT half stop. The blade does have a GOOD opening snap. The blade does have a VERY GOOD closing snap. This pocket knife is in EXCELLENT condition. This pocket knife did NOT need any cleaning. I just wiped it off. I took some pictures and here it is.
