Smith & Sons - Louisiana.
Just stumbled across this American company's website. They appear to have some nice stuff, some made off-shore, and some in house. Their Mudbug, which is a sodbuster style knife looks fantastic. If i was in the position to purchase one i think i would be all over the Natural Burlap Micarta.

I have one of those with the thumbstud and linerlock. This is the sod buster that I would have designed. It is a very well made knife, you can’t go wrong with these. I think they have these made in Italy if I am not mistaken.

I don't know, it says some are made in Italy, but from how their website reads, it says some, including the Micarta Sodbuster are made in house, whatever that means. I will leave it to far more knowledgeable than me to decide. But you have one and they do look like a fine product.Sharpnshinyknives wrote: ↑Mon Nov 28, 2022 12:21 am I have one of those with the thumbstud and linerlock. Here are some pictures of mine. I’ve wanted one of these with a liner lock and thumbstud since I first handled a sodbuster. This would be a workhorse of a knife.
