Buck 55 with OPAL scales AND ENGRAVED BOLSTERS
This Buck 55 is done with SYNTHETIC OPAL scales and engraved bolsters done by DC Lance my "partner" in knife art. This knife is a part of my "personal collection" line.
Synthetic opal cuts and looks like very top end opal. it still is spendy with the pieces used on this knife costing over $100.00 but REAL opal this size and color would have cost on the far side of $1000.00.

Beautiful & nice fire in the opal.
Bet it won't off gas like celluloid.

pmike5869 - I am currently trying to obtain enogh to do two more Case XX Tiny Trappers or Buck 503's and a Case XX whaler. It is hard to get in slices big enough for a knife.
