My new favorite TL Mod

Post by #goldpan »

So I had this screwdriver blade from an old TL-29 and wanted to do something with it. So I thought I would mod the blade into something that resembled the blade on the Kershaw Leek. Naturally the TL blade is much smaller, but it came out knice! Its a sharp little bugger too! I kept the lock and used some recycled oak barrel staves for the covers.

Great mod Goldpan. I like the shape of the blade and the scales as well. ::tu:: ::tu::

Very interesting. I like it. It looks like another possibility for a two blade mod! ::tu::

Thanks guys! I appreciate the kind words. And yes I agree it could be Violets cousin! ::tu:: I think I'll do a Barlow with 2 blades from a TL at some point. A spear master with a wharncliffe on a TL frame sounds mighty good! ::nod::

Nice job, and a great copy of Kershaw's Leek blade profile.
That is one of my favorite blade profiles and one that I carry most often. The Leek and the Wild Turkey have similar blade profiles. I almost always have one of those in blades (or a variation) in my pocket, ::tu::
