Camillus and Schrade

Post by glennbad »

Here's a couple I just recently finished. A Camillus 3 blade in stag, and a Schrade 61OT in amber sawcut...

Nice job! The 70 is the star, but the bone on the 61OT is exactly how an Old Timer should look. I've noticed the Bear-made Old Timer line Taylor Brands recently introduced has a bone that is supposed to look like a bone version of sawcut Delrin, but not even close.

Excellent work as usual Glenn! Love the gnarly stag and the Amber saw cut bone is what the 61OT was made for!
Outstanding execution, but for me one thing that shows me your artistry and your eye for detail and beauty it's the choice of the oval shield on the 61OT. That is magnificent and looks so much better on that pattern then the Old-Timer bar shield!!

Congratulations my friend , you hit both of those out of the park!! ::drool::

Very kind words, Dale! I'd love to take credit for that shield choice, but it was the owner that asked for that. I'd never look good without those behind the scenes (don't tell my wife, LOL)

Thanks! That stag was a challenge to fit. Wasn't sure I could make it work, but it came out ok.
