Statue of Liberty pocket hunter from parts
Well.... Here is my first project AS A RETIRED MAN.... YIPPEE.....
I have had this one in the back of my mind for a while. I got a couple of the Statue of Liberty blades from the bay. I got some jigged bone from Jantz and tried my hand at making a Statue of Liberty "123OT size" knife.
I robbed a spring from a (badly hurting) 123OT and took a couple of liners I got from the bay and here is what I came up with.
SORRY for the crummy pictures. I am going to have to find a new photography technique....
ALSO.... I still need to do a little more final polishing and cleaning before I call it finished......
Thanks for looking everyone.

Re: Statue of Liberty pocket hunter from parts
Congrats on the retirement!
That Statue of Liberty knife is a real beauty. I saw a few of those blades in the bay but didn’t pick one up. After seeing your knife I’ll have to see if I can grab one or two.
Nicely done.

Congrats on joining the ranks of the retired, you're gonna love it, get up when you want(cuz you've actually had enough sleep, not cuz its 8:00 A.M.!)), eat when you want(cuz you're actually hungry, not cuz it's 6:00 P.M.!), go to bed when you want(cuz you're actually tired, not cuz it's 11:00 P.M.!), well, you get it, you're gonna love it!

Nice choice of handles on that, it looks great. Love amber bone stag.

Congratulations on the retirement. I’m in the single digits until my day of liberation. The big question though is have you yet joined a morning lying coffee drinking club? That’s usually one of the first things that happens around here.
