Newbie - is this fake?

Newbie - is this fake?

New to forum and collecting. Would like to know if this knife I bought for my grandson is fake or real. Did not know there were so many fakes out there. I can’t figure out how to post a pic that I have on my computer but if you go to ebay/case canoe knives/sold/Feb 25/$69.95 you will see it.

That is not a counterfeit. Looks to have 3 dots below the USA which would make it a 1977. Pattern is called a canoe. Nice gift.
