Boy that is a strange one. It appears to me that it started out as an authentic Case XX stamped 6275 SP long pull, and someone added the shield and restamped the tang.

What kind of clip blade is that and how did he/they get the tang stamps to look like that? ::shrug::

A note about the above odd Case specimen. I did ask the person selling it, very kindly of course, if there was any known modifications to it or what the provenance was. The listing was pulled down this morning due to "error in listing", no response back from seller.
